As the owner of Destination Weddings by Janet, a division of Drinkwater Travel, I pledge to you my dedicated service to customize your wedding experience and you sit back, relax and enjoy being engaged. I go through this journey with you from our very first call to you and your guests returning home …. and many times, long after that! I treat my couples like they are family, so you will be well taken care of.
I have worked with destination wedding couples since 2011. With every wedding, I am reminded how much I love weddings and seeing the joy of the couple, parents and their guests makes me know I am doing exactly what I need to be doing.
I have certifications from Destination Wedding University, WOW – Weddings on the water, IWOW – Indian Weddings on the water and many resort certifications. I am a member of Destination Weddings & Honeymoon Association. Lastly, I have taken the wedding planning certification course to know what steps need to be taken at each point in the planning process.
All in all, by hiring me you will be getting a certified wedding planner, destination wedding certified expert and a travel specialist!
Annually we visit different resorts so we can make the connections with the resort teams and be able to know first hand what the resort is like. As we all know, the Internet and photo-shop can make a place look fabulous but that isn’t always the case! I have invested time and money into my training and to become an expert in destination weddings all so I can assist my clients with a fabulous wedding paradise! Our motto says it all…. It Matters Where You Book!

How we book your guests and handle their payment plans
Personalized wedding website with all the details of your wedding, history or your love story, information on the resort, and step by step booking instructions for your guests. You don’t want to be worrying about who has and who hasn’t booked or who has questions, leave that work to me!
Communication with the resort coordinator
You will have my personal cell phone number and email, so you can text or call me when you have a concern.
